Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting our site and wanting to learn a little more about us. I’d like to take this opportunity to share some aspects of myself with you, including how I arrived in this ministry. I grew up in a wonderful family of loving, supportive, Christian parents and an awesome sister that I love to death. It wasn’t until my junior year of high school that  I truly understood the gospel and that my life was not my own. This led to my decision to go to BIOLA University and continue the spiritual growth I needed. Another reason I came to BIOLA was to play baseball.

I loved baseball. I lived baseball for about 15 years. Camps, instructors, multiple teams at the same time, working outs, diet plans, etc… I played with Johnny at the collegiate level, but then I was cut form the team on the same day (during my sophomore year). I wasn’t playing very much in the games and I wasn’t the star athlete anymore like I was on my small high school team. Everyday on the hot field for hours, I wished I was in my  room playing my guitar. If I only knew what was coming… Baseball taught me a lot about dealing with life’s continuous cycle of ups and downs. Also, through it, God taught me that I lived very selfishly. Everything I did in life revolved around my desire to be a great baseball player. I wasn’t living for him. I was ready to move on and I felt I now had the opportunity to change my direction and open myself to what God had in-store for me. For about 6 months, I prayed everyday that God would show me what he wants to use me for; what he wants me to do with my life. I prayed that he would provide something big that I could glorify him through. Then came, the worship band…

I love music. I started playing the guitar, and writing songs on the piano in high school and have never stopped. It amazes me everyday how God is so big and far away, yet pays so much attention to the minute details that make this world so special; this life so sweet. It blows my mind that differing wavelengths of vibrations make-up the beautiful music that can make you cry… for joy, for pain. Music can alter your emotions and express feelings that cannot otherwise be expressed. We were all made to worship and we all worship something. Whether playing, writing, or singing, worship triggers this tingling sensation that runs down my spine and takes me to another place. It is there that I know God.
