Welcome to my little space on the website where I can tell you a little about myself and how I eventually came to be a part of REVEAL. First off, when I was in 6th grade (over 10 years ago now! Wow!!) I had some friends who played for the worship team in our junior high group, but none of them played bass (because they didn’t think it was a cool instrument). So, wanting to play music with my friends, I went and got a bass and started to learn to play. I then led at my church for over 5 years until I graduated from high school. I was then accepted into BIOLA University, where I stopped playing worship music, with no real intention of pursuing it again. But, to my surprise, I was asked to help play worship at Forest Home for junior high camp that next summer. When I returned to college my sophomore year, I started looking into getting involved with a worship team, and by the end of the year, I was in a band playing worship for the chapel programs at BIOLA. This begins my journey with REVEAL!
I met the guys in REVEAL because they were another worship team at BIOLA, so we became familiar with each other. Serving at BIOLA together for two years, I filled in on their team every once and a while. After graduating, I started filling in with them more frequently and was then asked to go with them to Hume Lake in the Fall to lead for two months. Towards the end of our time at Hume, REVEAL asked if I wanted to be a full time member with them, and so I jumped at the opportunity. So now I’m here! Pursuing music as a full time job with people that I can really call true friends and even family. God has truly paved the way for me to be a part of REVEAL, and I cannot deny that He alone is the reason that I have the privilege of being a part of this amazing ministry.
